For those of you unfamiliar with the founders of Deviant Picks, allow me to introduce them....er, us.

First of all, the original idea was created by myself (*Clovdyx). I came up with it a while ago when I got kind of upset with the selections for Daily Deviations and the Unknown Artist project. Don't get me wrong; both of these are great things and I have found a lot of art i wouldn't have otherwise. I'm not trying to say anything bad about them.

I just thought they could use something a little different, too.

So, I started brainstorming about how I could give random deviants the power to feature art that they think should be shown off. One thing led to another, and a rough draft of Deviant Picks was created.

However, I knew I didn't have the time or resources to run it alone. So, I turned to my friends =psivamp and `madnessism. Both of these girls thought it was a great idea. Both agreed to help and have contributed greatly. Psivamp does the Daily DeviantPicks that we all love and Manda fine tuned all the graphics, as well as the outline.

And then there's me. I'm the one responsible for the weekly (or however often) features we do, as well as most of the administrative things. And now, I'm starting my newest project.

College

What does this mean for DP? Well, honestly, I don't know how much free time I'll have to work on it. I'll try to do whatever I can to continue to bring you fresh, undernoticed art as selected by YOU, the deviants. However, please be patient; I just moved into my apartment hours ago and it's going to take a lot of time to get adjusted. I'll do what I can...just please be patient, and don't stop supporting DP.
